1. “The therapeutic application of Kosmodisk in physiatrics (Prof. Dr. Olga Popović Mladenović, Institute of Rehabilitation, Belgrade, 1992)
   
   
   • The results of this clinical study show positive effects in 83% of cases and show no negative effects, no allergic manifestations were recorded in any patients.

3. “The effects of the Kosmodisk in subjective and clinically objective findings on a random group of patients.” Micheal C. Hagan, Village Professional Healthcare, Inc.
   
   
   • The medical conditions of the patients in this study were of a chronic nature. The device helped these patients with the management of their pain as well as increased the functional range of motion. By using patients with chronic conditions for this study, it is reasonable to assume that the Kosmodisk helped reduce the related symptoms and findings.

“The therapeutic application of Kosmodisk in physiatrics” (Prof. Dr. Olga Popović Mladenović, Institute of Rehabilitation, Belgrade, 1992)

• 187 patients, aged 31 to 74, took part in this study. Patients were divided into 3 groups: patients suffering from degenerative rheumatism, insulin dependent diabetics with sensitive neuropathy of lower extremities and acute sports injuries
  
  
• The Kosmodisk was applied during seven successive days for at least 3 hours a day;
  
  
• CONCLUSION: The results of this clinical study show positive effects in 83% of cases and show no negative effects, no allergic manifestations were recorded in any patients.
  
  
  • The Kosmodisk can be effectively applied to those patients suffering from degenerative rheumatism and other degenerative inflammatory diseases.
  • In patients suffering from sensitive polyneuropathy it is most effectively used as a belt wrapped around the extremities or as a muff.
  • For acute sports injuries, the Kosmodisk is to be applied immediately after the injury since its effect is high in distortions.

• 20 patients, aged 25 to 67, were treated with the Kosmodisk. Ten patients were suffering from inflammatory diseases of the spine, ten felt discomforts of a degenerative nature.
• The patients wore the Kosmodisk for 10 days, with a minimum of 5 hours a day
• CONCLUSION: Kosmodisk showed a positive analgesic effect in 90% of patients with degenerative diseases of the spine and in 70% of patients with inflammatory diseases of the spine.
  
  
  • The analysis of subjective parameters showed that night pain disappeared in 54% of patients and decreased in 36.36% after wearing the Kosmodisk. In 13.33% of patients pain symptoms completely disappeared after the application of the Kosmodisk.
  • Morning stiffness was reduces in patients with inflammatory rheumatism, but was not statistically significant

  • 57% of the patients reported a decrease in pain, 45% were found to have a decrease in muscle spasm, 67% showed an increase in ROM and 28% of patients had less pain when foraminal compression was performed.
  • There were no undesired manifestations as a result of wearing the Kosmodisk.
