Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by Pazar Pty Ltd (ABN 37 140 794 510) ("Pazar").

1. Personal information is important.

Pazar is committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and all other applicable privacy laws. It has developed and implemented its Global Basic Principles on Personal Information which reflect world best practice on privacy policies. These principles meet and exceed the requirements of the Australian privacy legislation.

Pazar recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, Pazar will only collect and use personal information as set out below.

If secure transmission is indicated, Pazar currently uses 256 bit SSL encryption. Pazar regularly reviews developments in security and encryption technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Accordingly, although Pazar strives to protect such information, Pazar cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we take reasonable steps to preserve the security of the information in our own systems

2. Collecting personal information.

Pazar will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what has been provided voluntarily.

When a product is purchased or through marketing activities (online, over the telephone etc.), personal information may be requested (such as name and address) in order to service enquiries, provide upgrades or updated information, and advise of other Pazar products, which may be of interest. No one is obligated to provide personal information. However, failure to do so may result in Pazar being unable to sell you products and/or provide certain services including after sales services.

Pazar's policy for collecting personal information from children under the age of 13 is to seek the permission of a parent or guardian for the collection of this information.

3. Cookies

A cookie is a tiny element of data that a web site can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your hard drive, so you can be recognised when you return. You may set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie.

Cookies are used on this web site to monitor the traffic to the site. They are used to count the number of visitors to each page and to track the path each visitor takes to navigate this web site, but no personal information about you is collected during this process.

To render services related to Pazar business such as warranty or after sales services.

For the purpose described above, information may be shared with Pazar group companies either in Australia or overseas. Also, in order to operate the web site or deliver a service, personal information may also be shared with a service provider, a non-Pazar group company.

Pazar and Pazar group companies recognise the trust with which individuals provide personal information, and such information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes without consent, except in exceptional cases when disclosure may be required by law or is necessary to protect the rights or property of Pazar, any Pazar group company, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person's health or safety.

Pazar may contact individuals using the information which was provided by them in order to:

Provide information that may be of interest about upgrades, new Pazar products, special offers and other matters that may be of interest.

Pazar does not send advertising information without obtaining prior consent. If an individual receives communications from Pazar which they do not wish to receive, they may remove their name from the database by contacting Pazar on the customer enquiry number 1300 152 449 or email unsubscribe@kosmodisk.com.au. Please allow 14 days for this request to be processed.

6. Individual's right of access

Individuals have the right to review the information that may be recorded on the Pazar database. Information may be reviewed by contacting Pazar on the customer enquiry number 1300 152 449.

7. Changing and deleting the information we have about you

Information contained on the database may be amended by contacting Pazar on the customer enquiry number 1300 152 449. In the same way, a request may be made to delete personal information, and all reasonable steps to delete the information will be made, except where it is required for legal reasons. Deletion of information may result in Pazar being unable to sell products directly and/or provide certain services including after sales services.

8. Storage and security of personal information

Pazar will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information recorded, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Credit card details are not stored or recorded on this site. The information is stored on secure servers if in digital format, or in locked areas if in hardcopy format. Pazar employees and data processors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by Pazar. However, security of communications over the Internet cannot be guaranteed, and therefore absolute assurance that information will be secure at all times cannot be given. Pazar will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to personal information.

9. Payment transactions

This website uses ANZ eGate with Verified by Visa for secure credit card payments. Transactions are transmitted securely using 256-bit encryption.

10. Pazar and links to other web sites

Pazar provides links to web sites outside of the Pazar site. These linked sites are not under the control of Pazar, and Pazar is not responsible for the conduct of companies linked to the Pazar web site, nor for the performance or otherwise of any content and/or software contained in such external websites.
