The physical aspect of my work puts a lot of stress on my lower back.  I had constant pain and it got to the point when I thought I would have to change my career.  I saw the Kosmodisk ads a decided to give it a try. I suffer from back pain due to my arthritis. I get back pain in and around my lower back and my hips, once about every 3 months. I have been snowboarding since I was 5 years old and professionally the last 8 years. Trainings are quite hard. In the winter time I get up at 6 a.m. so that I can be on Rogla at 7a.m. From 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. we are training between gates, then I do some free rides and in the afternoon I spend couple of hours in gym to do my condition training. Unnatural posture on the board, hard snow, strong strokes in the lower back due to vibrations while turning, and tiredness, these are all causes for back pain. Ever since I started walking, I couldn't stand still: I was swimming, skiing, doing cross-country skiing, learning how to do ski jumps, playing golf, I was occupied with skydiving, glider flights, flying a power planes, etc. In my long career as a golfer I managed to put a golf ball in a hole with only one strike three times. I was also the first man who flew over Triglav with a glider. That was way back in 1959. And especially when I was flying, it happened to me a lot that I couldn't get out of the cabin on the end, that much my back was hurting me. Because once you get in a cabin, you are not able to move in there, you are like a foot in a shoe. Everything dies away. If I had the Kosmodisk back in 1595, I could be gliding over Triglav for at least two hours more.

Kosmodisk was a gift from my friends more than 15 years ago. At first it looked very silly to me, but then I tried it anyway. And I realised that I'm actually feeling much better. We became best buddies and my body was very thankful that it was given something what has been needed and what nature itself did not give. Among my peers I am the one who is known to be a little bit “crazy” and I often hear to calm down a little. I would like to do everything: I am taking a computer and digital photography course, I play tennis occasionally, dance folklore in the group Cof for over 20 years and take social dance lessons, and above all I also like to travel.

I was working in a hospital for 40 years. For most of the time I was sitting at the desk and once I started to feel back pain. Sport is part of me from the childhood on. I am in love in sport, especially in triathlon. For many years I was working in an office behind the computer desk and later in the afternoons I was spending my time mostly with knitting. Already when I was teenager, when I came home from internment I was unmovable. Because I froze there. And then the problems began.
